Volga-Dnepr, which is one of the largest air cargo carriers in the world, pays special attention to the introduction of advanced flight safety management methods. In 2010, the VD, together with Ulyanovsk State University, initiated an innovative project to develop an automated system for predicting and preventing aviation accidents in the organization and production of air transportation. Leading scientists in the field of flight safety management, risk management and the "human factor" from the Moscow State Technical University of Civil Aviation, Moscow State Technical University im. N.E. Bauman, St. Petersburg GU GA, Interstate Aviation Committee, OKB Mil and other organizations.
